Let's have at it, shall we?
Mondays and Wednesdays are by far my easiest days (that I actually have classes on...Fridays are free
Tuesdays are hell on wheels, though, with a grand total of 5 classes, pretty much from 10 A.M. until 9 P.M. Joy...
First up is Ear Training/Sight Singing, which I can guarantee will be my weakest music course, as I am far from good at either. And, naturally, it's from 9:50-11:05 A.M. Morning class. Joy of joys >.<
Next up, from 11:30-12:20 P.M. (Tuesday only), is Applied Voice 1. AKA voice lessons. Fortunately, I can put those wherever they fit in my schedule. I'll probably put those in on a Monday or Wednesday to free up some time so I can actually eat lunch.
Then we have Sociology, from 12:30-1:45 P.M. Should be a fun time
Psychology is after that, from 4:10-5:25 P.M. Also should be interesting ^.^
And, finally, also only on Tuesdays is Italian, from 6:00-8:45 P.M. I'm really looking forward to this one--I haven't taken Italian since I was 10. It's about time I got the chance to take it again, and this is the first semester SCCC is offering it, which is pretty awesome too
And, because I know you SCCC people will ask, my professors are as following:
Italian: G. Duca
Ear Training/Sight Singing: K. Hosmer
Applied Voice 1: W. Meckley
Chorus: Y. Wu
Psychology: E. Carlson
Sociology: R. Adamany
And I'm majoring in Humanities/Social Sciences and getting my Music Certification (hence all the music classes xD).
Ohhh and keep in mind that this is me telling you my schedule, so please don't call me during any of those times. I don't want to get into trouble. And if you do call, expect a legion of rabid squirrels armed with my cooking
As for the requirements for these majors, they do overlap a bit, which will help. Also, most of the Gen. Ed. portions of them I can take exams to place out of taking the actual class (über-score xD), so that's what I'll be doing. I mean, let's face it. Who *really* wants to sit through some science class that, frankly, doesn't interest you? I sure don't. Same with American History (another requirement >.<
Alright, so looking a couple of years into the future, I'm strongly considering SUNY Oswego for my 4-year college needs. No, I'm not coming back to Potsdam, except to visit (because all of you are just too awesome to not come visit some

Creative Writing--The Courses I Plan On:
Obviously the core requirements, all of which I'll have to take there, as SCCC doesn't offer any of them (booooo >.<
As for the rest of the actual course requirements, I'm sticking to Fiction and Poetry writing all the way through, as that's where my talent actually lies.
It says at least 9 hours of Literature electives? Fine by me. Here we go!
Literature of Medieval England
Literary Criticism
Junior Seminar: Author
The remaining six credits I will likely take from my other major or my minor. Probably one from each, to be honest

Psychology--More Courses?!?!:
Again, obviously the core requirements. Again, I'll have to take them there, as SCCC doesn't offer them. Maybe I should look into using that lovely ability I have to take my classes elsewhere for SCCC prices over the next couple years....
The 300-level course...let's go with Motivation. Maybe it'll teach me why I lack it most of the time.
400-level? Probably going to have to go with Learning. It sounds interesting
As for the elective I'll require...hmm. It's at the 400-level again. Looking at the course offerings, Theories of Personality jumped out at me. Looks like fun--let's give it a go ^.^
I'll also require one last elective, which I will take from my minor.

Medieval and Renaissance Studies Minor--I must be frikken crazy.:
This one is actually the most difficult to decide through. Obviously, again, the core requirements. But choosing between either the early medieval or high medieval? I'm interested in both! It may be that I take one and use the other as an elective in my Psych major, which is what is likely to happen.
The rest of the requirements? Well, the literature part is covered by my elective for the Creative Writing major (hooray!). And, since I only have to do two other courses from that, we'll go with the ones I'm best in: Music and Theatre. Since Music is what I'm better in of those two, that will be the other one that I'll take the 300-400-level course in. The one I'm most interested in now for that is Renaissance Music in Italy and its Medieval Origins (and perfect for the minor too, aye?). However, that is offered irregularly, so I may have to go with the back-up of Music and the Theater: An Introduction to Opera.
For Theater, I'm thinking of The Actor's Self: Emotion and Psychology. Who knows? Maybe I'll *FINALLY* get over my fear of public speaking.
And...how does this all glomp together? Well, some of you may know about the stories Jenna and I are writing together. They take place in a medieval setting, and I feel that studying that time period so intensely may help me at least understand and write it better. Self-improvement kick, here I come! As for how my majors combine? Simple! Writing Therapy, which I plan to go to grad school for. And let me tell you, it is almost impossible to find a grad school that offers a Masters in that! I finally found one in Glassboro, NJ, called Rowan University. They're implementing that very program this fall, and are so far the only college I've found that is even considering that program. Stroke of fate? I think so.
More information on them can be found at [link]
Also, they're cheap. Seriously. $14K/year for non-residents in the grad school program. How awesome is that?
So, that's pretty much the plan for the next few years. Honestly? I have no idea how long all this will take. With my CLEP exams and transfer credits, I'll be done with SCCC in 2 years. But Oswego? Who knows! I'm predicting now that I'll be there for about 3 years, maybe 2 if I'm lucky and can play my cards right. After that? Well, Rowan University hasn't posted any real information on their upcoming Writing Therapy program, so that's as mysterious as what goes into my cooking. I'll keep all of you posted as I know more, though
Anyway. End of rant. I'm thirsty, and still not tired. I see a long night ahead of me. But good night to the rest of you
~Tess

Wow...I haven't been on DA in forever...most people on here probably think I'm dead or something XD.
How are you doing?

"There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind."
